The Abbess

The model posing as the Abbess appears simultaneously mousey and menacing. Her pose mirrors that struck by the Countess, but the angle of her head and the position of her arms give her an innocuous and inviting demeanour, like a doe. The raised habit exposing her bum also gives her an innocent appearance, as though she is unaware of it—which stands in relief to the Countess who is defiantly, completely naked.
