This film "White Funeral" is set in London in 1910 and contains more explicit outtakes from the photoshoot "The Blessed Sacrilege". Georges Bataille's "Story of the Eye", Euripides' "The Bacchae" and the present day "cancel culture" inspired me to develop the plot for “White Funeral”. Similar to Bataille’s and Euripides’ tragic male characters, the Saint commits hubris as he misjudges his own ability to discern and confront power and is humiliated and destroyed as a result. “White Funeral” depicts the Saint’s martyrdom at the hands of the Countess, the Abbess and the nuns, who symbolically enucleate and dismember him by deplatforming him at the altar during mass in the chapel. Presented in the original black and white, the film has been shown at various film festivals under the "Experimental" or "Horror" genres.
