Stalking the stalk—closing in. The portraits of the subjects portraying the Abbess and the Countess was taken 2 months before the rest of the photos in the shoot. Shortly after moving house, I realised too late that I had mislaid the veils so I had to use a black scarf instead! I had also decided to take the shoot in a different direction, adding a male model dressed as a priest. I have featured the third outtake on its own, and entitled it, “Framed”.
