“Up and down in and out” (2020—2021): Photographs and colourful collages of the Strand during the Covid-19 lockdown(s), one of the most interesting areas of London that is so often overlooked or taken for granted—a place to get through on the way to and from somewhere else. The Strand is my favourite part of London, where my first surgery was located. There is movement, life, desolation and creativity constantly generating from the Strand. Some of these photographs and their derivations were published online to celebrate February 2021 as LGBTQ+ History Month in the UK and can be found here: https://www.strandlines.london/2021/02/12/strandlines-by-nora-geist/ Cameras used: Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5–>iPhone 7. *Click on each thumbnail to view the larger picture with details.
