“Casual Audacity” (1987–1995) presents portraits in which nudity is less erotic than comedic—charged with a sly, defiant pleasure. The models return the viewer’s gaze, breaking the fourth wall and disrupting the usual economy of spectacle. Here the naked body is not offered as lack or lure, but as a site of play: laughter displaces desire, and expression becomes the real provocation. Shot on a Konica Autoreflex T4 35mm film SLR, later scanned and converted to JPEGs. Click each thumbnail to view a larger image with details.
